Binance has partnered with three stars of the Nigerian reality show “Big Brother Naija” Hazel Oyeze Onou, Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, and Pere Egbi, who will become the exchange’s ambassadors for the African continent.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced its partnership with three former housemates from the popular Nigerian reality show “Big Brother Naija”. As part of this collaboration, Hazel Oyeze Onou, Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, and Pere Egbi will become Binance ambassadors for the African continent. According to Techpoint.africa, for this collaboration, the three reality TV stars will help bring digital assets to the mainstream by educating people with little or no knowledge of crypto through Binance masterclasses, social media posts, videos, and interaction with their audience.

Binance stated that this step is part of the exchange’s strategy to strengthen its position in Africa.

“Our goal is to teach people to understand cryptocurrency and simplify the process of its implementation in their daily lives. One of the things we have seen is how the characters of this reality show and their stories embody the spirit of entrepreneurship, hard work, and lifestyle of ordinary Nigerians. Our common goal is to provide more Africans with the knowledge and resources they need to achieve financial freedom. Therefore, this solution is perfect for us, and joining with these stars is a great victory,” Binance director for Africa Emmanuel Babalola added.

“Big Brother Naija” stars are very excited about the partnership, as they believe this to be a great opportunity to share knowledge on digital assets with their audience. “Crypto is the new currency, and I am excited to take the Binance message to the streets as one doesn’t have to be rich or that educated to trade crypto,” Onou said.
