The lead developer of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) meme coin has hinted at a possible partnership with the online store Newegg. He posted a tweet with an emoji egg and the hashtag “friendship”.
Shiba Inu is attempting to recover from the recent crash. The lead developer on the project, Shytoshi Kusama, decided to interest the community in the opportunity to capitalise on the upcoming partnership, which the team themselves hinted at by tweeting with an emoji egg and hashtag “friendship”.
Of course, unless an official announcement is made in plain terms, all that remains nothing more than a rumour. However, some crypto enthusiasts are positive that the post is a nod to Newegg, an online store that sits on the 90th position in the retailer table, scoring a revenue of over $2,7 billion per year.
Although Shiba Inu left the TOP 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap, the community formed around the coin is still actively campaigning in favour of the coin. Right now, on Twitter, you can hardly meet a crypto-related post by a famous crypto activist that wouldn’t sport the hashtag #ShibArmy.
