Larva Labs, the creators of the legendary CryptoPunks NFT series, have signed a contract with United Talent Agency (UTA). The agency will represent the company’s NFT collections in movies, TV, video games, and publishing projects.
Larva Labs has signed a contract with United Talent Agency, entrusting the latter with the responsibility of representing the company in films, TV, video games, publishing, and licensing matters. UTA will also represent Meebits and Autoglyphs, NFT projects created by Larva Labs.
Matt Hall, one of the co-founders of Larva Labs said he is excited about the partnership and sees it as an opportunity to maintain interest in non-fungible tokens and the long-term protection of their value for the community:
“We are excited to work with UTA for the benefit of the entire community connected to our projects. Not only for the exciting opportunities to bring them wider exposure, but to help protect their growth and value for the long term.”
According to Hollywood Reporter, CryptoPunks was one of the earliest examples of non-fungible tokens launched on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain back in 2017.
At the time, pieces of digital art from the series were given away for free. However, in recent months, sales of the collection have skyrocketed. At the time of writing, the total value of the CryptoPunks series exceeds $3 billion (~£2.16 billion).
