Today is 17th September, and here’s another part of CoinTribune’s NFT of the Day series with more not-too-trendy but deep and probably underestimated digital artworks that are fortunate enough to have taken the form of non-fungible tokens

The mystery of a woman is not her manners or habits, not a wasp waist or a shade of lipstick. Mystery cannot be defined as anything material, but it is there. Or is it just a stereotype? As if there is supposed to be some kind of mystery in a woman, and that’s it.
It is not a coincidence that so many great artists were inspired by their Muses. A Muse is a person, usually, a woman, who inspired the artist with her personality, charisma, friendly attitude, aura, or eroticism. Salvador Dali and Gala, Pablo Picasso and Olga Khokhlova, Vladimir Vysotsky and Marina Vladi, John Lenon and Yoko Ono – all of them had Muses.
Ancient Greek poets were the first ones to mention the Muses, the daughters of Zeus. No work of art was created without their participation, emphasising the divine origin of creativity bestowed by the gods.
A personal Muse is an almost forgotten “profession”. Now women want to be artists, not their shadows. The traditional model of the relationship between a male artist and his female muse has passed into oblivion.
Nevertheless, women are still the main characters of many works of art, becoming a source of admiration and inspiration. Like in today’s issue of the NFT of the Day.
“Look into her eyes and tell me what you see,” suggests the author of the digital piece, a 12-second looped video.
The self-taught artist from Indonesia depicted a girl that hides behind a veil of fire. We can only guess where this fire is coming from, as only sparks and space distorted by the heat hint at it. The distinguishing feature of this work is the tension between the foreground and the background. The latter depicts a calm girl. The former shows a raging fire.
The girl in the video has a respirator that allows her to breathe. At the same time, she is so beautiful that you do not really notice her inhuman features.
Probably, calling the picture “Artificial Transfiguration”, the author wanted to emphasise the nature of beauty and its destructive, burning power.
The colour scheme (black, terracotta, orange) and bright flames cause a strong emotional response in contrast to the calmness of the main character.
The NFT of today becomes “Artificial Transfiguration” by @izzy for vivid emotions and thoughts about the power of beauty.
