The growing crypto popularity is making big owners consider how to use this technology. The easiest way is to introduce digital assets as a payment method. A huge number of businesses from small fast food restaurants to large companies such as Tesla have already introduced cryptocurrencies as a payment method for their services.

VIANNE is put up for sale for £7.6 million

Some private owners decide to use cryptocurrencies to sell things, others to get in the spotlight.

A month ago, the Italian 52-meter superyacht VIANNE was put up for sale for £7.6 million. However, even despite all the buzz around VIANNE, its sale didn’t cause a huge stir. The situation changed after the current owner of the yacht confirmed the fact that it can be purchased for crypto, including NFTs.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), as well as any other major cryptocurrency can be used to buy VIANNE.

It’s not the first time that a yacht is being sold for digital assets. Recently, the yacht business has seen a heightened interest in such a payment method. Still, being the largest and most expensive yacht being put up for sale with crypto ever, VIANNE might break the record and become a pioneer in superyachts’ crypto sales.

VIANNE itself is a fully equipped 52-meter motor yacht with a helipad and a hot tub on the air deck. The hull of the yacht is made of steel, there is an aluminium superstructure built according to the ABS classification, the design of which was provided by Stefano Natucci.

This year VIANNE underwent a complete technical and cosmetic overhaul at the Italian shipyard Agresa and at the moment it’s fully classified and available for charter flights. Finally, VIANNE is equipped with new Ralph Lauren furniture inside and out. There are 12 experienced crew members on board led by the famous Italian captain Alberto Zambelli.

VIANNE hasn’t yet been purchased, but it’s quite possible that very soon someone will decide to add this Italian gem to his/her collection. The yacht can be rented for a week. A week-long cruise to the Caribbean today will cost £148,000.
