Getting informed Blockchain

The crypto market has been generally anxious these past few days. However, Chainlink, despite a decrease in the valuation of its native cryptocurrency (LINK), showcases remarkable performance in terms of development activities. Latest news indicates that no other blockchain does better in this regard.

The data provider Santiment recently shed light on the current landscape of crypto in terms of development operations. According to the information provided by the platform, Chainlink emerges as a leader in this field.

To appreciate this, one must refer to GitHub events. They serve as a barometer of a crypto project’s development activity, encompassing a range of activities such as code commits, raised issues, and pull requests.

The data provided by Santiment shows that over the past 30 days, Chainlink maintained an impressive average of 451.23 GitHub events. A performance that has positioned the crypto platform at the forefront of innovation and progress.

This leadership of Chainlink in development activities is significant for analysts. It tangibly highlights the existence of a strong and active developer community dedicated to improving the capabilities of the platform.

Chainlink leads the pack in terms of crypto project development activities

Indeed, the crypto platform Chainlink shows a notably sustained development activity. However, it is not far ahead of Cardano, its closest competitor in these development operations.

With 444.7 significant GitHub events, Cardano demonstrates strong dynamics in its development efforts. This is in line with its stated ambition to carve out a significant role in the evolving landscape of decentralized finance (DeFi).

Status, a platform offering secure messaging, crypto wallets, and Web 3.0 services, closely follows with 434.5. Optimism, Ethereum’s Layer-2 (411 GitHub events), and Hedera, a decentralized public network (378.73 GitHub events), round out the top 5 in development activities. In a sector plagued by scams and speculation, these projects with high development activity are perceived as more credible and especially less likely to fail abruptly. This perception is potentially not without effect on their medium and long-term performance.
