Summarize this article with:

During the week ending August 28, American XRP ETFs attracted 110.49 million dollars. For observers, this is their best weekly performance since the beginning of the year. Also, it is their first result above 100 million dollars since December 2025. Indeed, cumulative inflows now approach a record 1.66 billion dollars. However, this demand did not prevent XRP from falling below 1.40 dollars after its recent rebound to 1.70 dollars.

In a huge industrial financial room, an analyst tries to open a gigantic valve connected to a capital reservoir. As soon as the valve opens, a spectacular torrent of coins, light, and orange energy rushes toward a massive transparent tank containing a glowing XRP symbol. The character occupies the foreground, gripping the valve's wheel with an expression of astonishment.

In brief

  • XRP ETFs record 110.49 million dollars in inflows over five days.
  • Cumulative flows now reach nearly 1.66 billion dollars.
  • Bitwise, Canary Capital and Franklin Templeton concentrate nearly 93% of inflows.
  • XRP falls below 1.40 dollars despite strong ETF demand.
  • Record inflows into funds are therefore not enough to support the price of XRP.

Inflows exceed 110 million dollars in five days

During each session of the week, the XRP ETFs recorded net inflows, according to SoSoValue data. All daily results are above 10 million dollars, which reveals that the growth is not based on a single exceptional operation.

With 28.14 million dollars, Wednesday, August 26 is the best session. This amount represents the largest daily contribution since January 5, when funds had received more than 46 million.

The daily statistics allow us to trace the formation of the weekly record :

  • 13.82 million dollars entered on Monday ;
  • 23.87 million was recorded on Tuesday ;
  • 28.14 million joined the funds on Wednesday ;
  • 18.47 million was added on Thursday ;
  • 26.20 million entered on Friday.

These amounts bring the total to 110.49 million dollars after SoSoValue adjustments and roundings. This is thus the best week since the one ending December 5, 2025.

Flows measure the difference between creations and redemptions of shares. They do not necessarily equate to immediate XRP acquisitions made daily on the spot market. Managers execute transactions according to the mechanisms relating to each product.

Bitwise exceeds 600 million dollars in cumulative inflows

In the ranking, Bitwise’s fund holds first place with just over 600 million dollars in net inflows since its launch. In second place, Canary Capital’s XRPC follows with nearly 483 million dollars.

As for Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, it holds third place. All its cumulative contributions approach 462.86 million dollars. Thus, these three products concentrate more than 1.54 billion dollars, nearly 93% of the 1.66 billion dollars recorded by all ETFs.

Assets currently managed should not be confused with cumulative net inflows. From this perspective, XRP ETFs held nearly 1.44 billion dollars in assets at the end of the period, about 220 million dollars less than cumulative flows.

This gap does not mean the figures are contradictory. It should be noted that inflows add up capital received since launch, while assets under management grow with Ripple’s crypto price. A token pullback thus reduces the portfolio’s value without producing a net outflow.

Share acquisitions also do not come exclusively from institutional investors. Indeed, individuals also invest in these products through brokerage accounts. Statistics therefore reveal an explosion in demand for regulated exposure to XRP, without showing the actual identity of all investors.

Record flows do not prevent XRP correction

Between August 19 and 22, XRP had evolved nearly 70%. Its price rose from 1 dollar to a several-month high near 1.70 dollars.

Ripple’s crypto then retreated to 1.50 dollars early in the week, then below 1.40 dollars on Friday. During a corrective period, ETFs thus attracted 110.49 million dollars.

This contradiction reveals that flows into funds do not solely determine price. Thus, sales on trading platforms, derivatives products, and overall market progress exert pressure greater than ETF-related acquisitions.

The range between 1.35 and 1.38 dollars now represents a level to watch. A continuation of inflows, accompanied by a recovery of the XRP price above 1.60 dollars, would consolidate the rebound scenario. Conversely, the ETF record would remain a demand signal without automatic confirmation at the price level.
