Crypto: Uniswap v4 Surpasses $44 Billion in Trading Volume in Just 30 Days
Uniswap v4 crosses 44 billion dollars in trading volume over 30 days. The latest version of the crypto protocol now accounts for 49.9% of Uniswap’s total activity, ahead of v3. This progress comes as the UNI token tries to recover after defending the 6.80 dollar support. Traders are notably watching a liquidity zone around 11 dollars.

In brief
- Uniswap v4 exceeds 44 billion dollars in trades in 30 days.
- The new version represents 49.9% of the protocol’s volume, compared to 44.9% for v3.
- The UNI token rebounds from 6.80 dollars, with a significant liquidity zone around 11 dollars.
Uniswap v4 captures nearly half of crypto trades
Uniswap has just released significant figures regarding its fourth version. Over the last thirty days, the protocol processed more than 44 billion dollars in transactions via v4. This version now concentrates 49.9% of Uniswap’s total volume. V3 still represents 44.9% of trades, while v2 only retains 5.2%. For the first time in this recent distribution, the fourth generation clearly outpaces each of the older versions taken separately.
The start has been rather successful. Launched on January 31, 2025, Uniswap v4 was launched on twelve blockchain networks, notably Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism.
This new architecture introduces hooks, modules allowing developers to customize the operation of liquidity pools.
They can notably modify fees, automate certain operations, or create more advanced management strategies. Uniswap v4 also improves transaction efficiency thanks to an architecture grouping pools in a main contract and an optimized accounting system.
These features reduce some usage costs of the crypto protocol. The figures published this week give a concrete indication of its adoption. V4 represents almost as much volume as the two previous versions combined. V3 nevertheless keeps an important place with nearly 45% of trades.
The crypto market also observes the rebound of the UNI crypto
While protocol activity is progressing, the UNI crypto tries to regain height. The price recently defended the 6.80 dollar area. Buyers intervened at this level, enabling a rebound and an improvement of the technical structure on the hourly chart.
On the daily chart, UNI was also trading above its 20, 30, and 50-day exponential moving averages. Positions on derivative products showed some optimism.
According to Coinalyze data, about 63% of tracked positions were bullish. Buyers thus dominated this market sample. This concentration also carries a risk. If UNI suddenly drops, long positions using leverage could face liquidations.
Uniswap still has another element likely to interest investors: its fee capture mechanism. In February 2026, a governance vote accompanied a 15% increase in the UNI token. The proposal notably aimed to extend the protocol fee collection to several additional networks.
Part of the revenue can thus feed mechanisms reducing the supply of the UNI crypto. However, be careful not to confuse the two indicators. The 44 billion dollars correspond to trades conducted on Uniswap v4, not to UNI token purchases.
Can UNI benefit from the 44 billion dollars volume?
Analysts are now watching an area around 11 dollars. According to CoinGlass’s liquidation map, about 535.1 million dollars of potential liquidity are concentrated near this level.
This area could attract the price if demand for UNI continues to increase. To reach it from the 6.80 dollar support, the UNI crypto would need to record a rise of about 62%. A significant move that cannot be deduced from the sole activity volume of Uniswap v4.
Buyers still need to confirm their presence in the spot market. However, the crypto protocol has a different economic model from its early years. In December 2025, Uniswap destroyed 100 million UNI tokens, following the approval of the UNIfication program.
Other burns can occur thanks to the mechanism associated with the protocol fees. On June 6, 2026, Uniswap notably recorded a burn of 134,000 UNI in a single day. These operations reduce the token supply, without guaranteeing a price increase.
For now, usage figures remain stronger than technical signals. With 49.9% of total volume, v4 has established itself among the main gateways for decentralized trading on Uniswap. The UNI crypto still must convert this activity into sustained demand. A return towards 11 dollars remains possible, but will also depend on the overall evolution of the crypto market.
