As yet, no official date has been announced for Shibarium. However, many are hoping that the advent of Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 blockchain will bring big changes. Some are even predicting a bull run for SHIB as soon as it is deployed.

Picking up on this tweet from Lucie, a member of the Shiba Inu team, U°Today mentioned an important milestone that memecoin will reach today.

First, the crypto media reported on a major event taking place today in Canada: the Blockchain Futurist Conference. This is a major Web3 event that will bring together tens of thousands of participants. They will be discussing the future of blockchain technology.

Shiba Inu, as official sponsor of this event, will be represented by Shytoshi Kusama. He will be speaking via AI on the theme of “Dear Humanity: An Insider’s Perspective”.

SHIB continues its ascent

The SHIB has yet to reach the 1 cent the ShibArmy has been dreaming of. Let alone the moon. But the curves show that America’s favorite memecoin is starting to readjust.

Since August 13, SHIB has lost one zero, trading at the time of writing at $0.000 010 a coin.

But Shytoshi Kusama has made it clear that his presentation today will focus on the Shiba Inu ecosystem as a whole: TREAT, LEASH, Shibarium and more.

“Dear LEASH Holders. As you know, EXCLUSIVITY is the key utility of Leash and I have an exclusive exclusive for you all TUESDAY 1 PM EST. A new utility for Leash will be unveiled. It’s just a bonus that will give Leash a very important role. It won’t be the only new feature we’ll be announcing. There’s a lot more to come,” promises Kusama.

He continued: “the Worldpaper will be on display, fully completed, all SHIB brand projects will be unveiled and TREAT will be publicly discussed in detail for the first time. It’s also very likely that we’ll be discussing and even releasing our long-awaited L2 Shibarium”.

In a recent issue, CryptoPotato also revealed the existence of some big SHIB deals in the run-up to the event.

First, there’s Voyager, which has sold its entire SHIB holdings, worth $14.4 million. This bankrupt asset manager has just parted with its $2.7 million in SHIB on Coinbase, according to Lookonchain.

Then there’s a brand-new whale who had just topped up his crypto wallet with SHIB. It had offered itself the equivalent of $48 million in crypto on the occasion.
