The memecoin associated with Donald Trump is attracting the attention of the crypto market again. The American president plans to hold an exclusive event reserved for holders of the $TRUMP token. This initiative once again illustrates how some crypto projects use private events to mobilize their communities. Trump Memes announces an exclusive event for $TRUMP holders

First of all, the Get Trump Memes site announced the organization of a new event reserved for holders of the memecoin $TRUMP. Presented as a “once in a lifetime” experience, this event is to bring together 18 personalities among the most influential in the world, although, for now, no guest names have yet been revealed.

Next, the program includes a gala lunch accompanied by a speech from President Trump. On the official project site, the description remains intentionally brief. One can notably read: “One day. One room, The world’s most influential personalities.”

Furthermore, the 29 largest holders of the $TRUMP token will have access to an exclusive VIP reception in the presence of the president and 18 special guests. However, the organization specifies that no private meetings or gift distributions will be allowed during the event.

Finally, participants will have to pass security checks and background verifications before being allowed to attend the festivities. The conditions published on the site also specify that nationals from countries under KYC surveillance as well as representatives of foreign governments will not be permitted to participate.

The $TRUMP token reacts briefly after the announcement of an event at Mar-a-Lago

The announcement of this event also triggered a rapid movement in the market. Indeed, the $TRUMP cryptocurrency, developed on the Solana blockchain, rose by more than 10% within an hour on Thursday, before giving back part of this gain.

This increase came after Trump Memes announced in a post on X that some token holders might receive an invitation to an event organized at the Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, scheduled for April 25. However, the movement was short-lived and the token price quickly corrected.

More recently, the $TRUMP was trading around $2.92, representing an increase of about 0.1% over the past 24 hours. Despite this occasional rebound, the price remains about 96% below its all-time high.

On Thursday, the token nevertheless reached a peak of $3.08, its highest level in five days. However, this rise did not last long, illustrating the usual volatility of memecoins.

Moreover, this event constitutes the second initiative of this type intended for $TRUMP holders. Invitations should concern the top 297 holders, identified based on a system of time-weighted points. This selection will take into account positions held between March 12 and April 10.

During the first dinner organized by the project team, VIP participants held tokens worth an average of about $4.8 million to secure their spot. However, since that period, the value of the $TRUMP token has seen a notable decline on the market.
