Net inflows have been recorded in US XRP ETFs for eleven consecutive sessions. This streak, starting on August 18, brought them nearly 170 million dollars and raised their cumulative flows to 1.68 billion since their launch. Meanwhile, Q2 publications position Goldman Sachs as the leading known institutional investor. However, these two statistics do not cover the same period and do not allow linking recent flows to the American bank.

English "The Wall Street Stock Exchange is transformed into a spectacular financial racetrack. Several suit-wearing executives pilot massive armored vehicles representing major banks. In the foreground, a dark blue and black vehicle, larger than the rest, has just pulled clearly ahead. Its driver wears a determined expression. Floating in front of him is a gigantic metallic XRP symbol surrounded by an orange halo, like a finish line to be reached.

In Brief

  • US XRP ETFs record eleven consecutive sessions of net inflows.
  • Nearly 170 million dollars have been collected since August 18.
  • Cumulative flows reach 1.68 billion dollars since November 2025.
  • Bitcoin ETFs maintain a clear lead in fundraising.
  • Goldman Sachs held 87.4 million dollars of XRP ETFs as of June 30.

XRP ETFs String Together Eleven Sessions of Net Inflows

The XRP ETFs captured an additional 14.38 million dollars on September 1. This session was dominated by Franklin Templeton with 6.63 million dollars, followed by Grayscale with 4.72 million dollars.

Thus, this capital influx extends a positive streak that began on August 18. The five US funds attracted nearly 170 million dollars in eleven days. Since their launch in November 2025, the cumulative amount now approaches about 1.68 billion dollars.

The key observed data summarize this dynamic :

  • XRP ETFs have achieved eleven consecutive sessions of inflows ;
  • Fundraising reached approximately 170 million dollars over this period ;
  • Cumulative flows amount to 1.68 billion dollars since November 2025 ;
  • Franklin Templeton and Grayscale captured 11.35 million dollars on September 1.

Despite this demand, XRP gave up part of its gains. The token was around 1.33 dollars on September 2, compared to about 1.45 dollars on August 27. Its price remains, however, above the level near 1 dollar observed in mid-August.

This divergence confirms that flows to ETFs alone do not determine price. The derivatives market, direct sales of XRP, bitcoin’s progress, and the macroeconomic environment can balance the demand generated by the funds.

Bitcoin ETFs Maintain a Considerable Lead

This 1.68 billion dollar fundraising demonstrates effective demand for XRP ETFs since their launch. However, this amount remains limited compared to flows directed toward Bitcoin ETFs.

Bitcoin funds recorded 2.26 billion dollars in just six sessions by the end of August. They thus attracted nearly 35% more in a few days than XRP ETFs since November 2025.

This comparison must take into account the respective sizes of the two markets. Bitcoin’s valuation, its seniority, and liquidity among institutional investors remain significantly higher. Its ETFs have also been available since January 2024.

The evolution of XRP products must therefore be appreciated on the scale of this asset. A series of eleven positive sessions attest to steady demand; however, it is not yet enough to position these funds at the same level as their bitcoin-backed counterparts bitcoin.

Goldman Sachs Held 87.4 Million Dollars as of June 30

Goldman Sachs was the top declared institutional holder of XRP ETFs according to Q2 results. The banking institution held nearly 87.4 million dollars in shares, based on data compiled from 13F forms.

The second place was held by Jane Street with 16.6 million dollars, just ahead of Millennium Management with 16.2 million. The position declared by Goldman was thus more than five times that of its nearest competitor.

In total, investors subject to disclosure owned nearly 183 million dollars of XRP ETFs as of June 30. Investment advisors represented about 120 million, hedge funds 25 million, brokers 17 million, and banking institutions 14 million.

It was on August 14 that the SEC received the 13F form filed by Goldman Sachs, though it reveals positions as of June 30. It therefore precedes by nearly two months the inflow streak started on August 18.

These disclosures do not show institutions’ total exposure either. Goldman Sachs may hold shares for its clients, provide fund liquidity, or hedge these positions with derivative contracts. The declared amount therefore does not necessarily represent a directional bet of 87.4 million dollars on XRP price increase. Ultimately, the upcoming publication of 13F forms in November will show whether Goldman Sachs and other major players kept or changed their positions during the August rebound.
