Bitcoin has just erased part of its rebound after a peak at 82281 dollars on September 4. Indeed, the price dropped back to around 79000 dollars, a decline of nearly 4% in a few hours. It is the maintenance of the support located around 78500 dollars that will now determine whether this decline remains temporary or invalidates the recent bullish breakout.

A new data leak expands the incident affecting hardware wallet buyers. Trezor reports that a breach at its logistics partner Shipmonk exposed information of an additional 67,000 American customers. The affected files were supposed to be deleted from the provider's systems but remained accessible. The impacted orders date from November 2019 to August 2021. With the 13,689 recorded customers, the incident concerns about 80,000 people, without compromising wallets, private keys, or backups.

However, the evolution of leverage and the high RSI level now amplify the risk of a sharp pullback.

Over the past three weeks, Bitcoin ETFs have captured approximately 3.8 billion dollars. This is their best performance since the beginning of this year. In the last week, they attracted an additional 986.9 million dollars despite a withdrawal. This recovery thus confirms the return of institutional demand, although it has not yet offset all the outflows recorded since January.

The major bitcoin corrections are losing magnitude. They have gone from about 85% in the early cycles to 84%, then 77%, and nearly 53% in the current cycle. Data compiled by Galaxy Research show this progressive compression, even though the 2025-2026 cycle bottom is not yet definitively confirmed.

Pi Network further expands its crypto infrastructure. On September 4, the Core Team launched three tools aimed at developers: local storage, an API providing access to staking data specific to each application, and file or video sharing. The project also consolidated its technical documentation on a single platform to simplify the transition from development to launching an application.
