What is CoinFerenceX, and why is it held just before TOKEN2049?
CoinFerenceX is a Web3 conference series born in Dubai in April 2025, holding its second edition in Singapore. It takes place on October 5 and 6, just before TOKEN2049, the major crypto event of the week, which we presented in our guide to tickets and the program of TOKEN2049 Singapore. The 2026 edition is co-organized with The Best Event, described as “the event branch of TBV, a venture capital fund financing web2.5 and web3 startups in Southeast Asia and North America“, according to the organizers’ press release of July 29, 2026.
Read as an operation, the timing says it all. On its website, the organizer presents itself as “the ultimate alternative to Token2049” and invites brands to anchor themselves in the Asian crypto week. It’s the logic of a restaurant located next to the stadium: it benefits from the crowd coming for the match. For the visitor, entrance cost is zero with the free pass; the organizer earns revenue from sponsors, exhibitors, and VIP passes.
We are incredibly excited for this edition: it is bigger, more targeted, and more ambitious than anything we’ve done so far. With the entire industry in Singapore that week, we’ve created a stage and an audience that turn this energy into real conversations and real deals.

What is on the program?
The ticketing announces “over 100 executive-level speakers” and five formats, from most open to most closed. As of September 30, 116 speakers were registered. The displayed themes cover Web3, blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), artificial intelligence, and crypto ecosystems of the Asia-Pacific region.
| Format | What it is | For whom |
|---|---|---|
| Conferences and exhibition | Stage talks and brand and project booths | All visitors |
| Protocol Deep Dives | Technical workshops where protocols showcase their deliverables | Developers and technical profiles |
| Founders’ Den | Presentations by young startups before investors | Founders in seed phase |
| Innovation Showcase | Product demonstrations | Curious and buyers |
| Leaders Summit | Closed meeting on strategic partnerships | Executives, by invitation |
The site highlights personalities such as Arthur Hayes (Maelstrom), Raoul Pal (Real Vision), Yat Siu (Animoca Brands), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon Labs) or Luuk Strijers (Coinbase). The hour-by-hour program is not published as of September 30: check the presence of a specific speaker before planning your day around them.
Which pass to choose, and how much does it cost?
The free pass works like free entry to an exhibition: you do not pay money, but you provide your contact details, which are passed on to the organizers during registration. The VIP pass is for those seeking business meetings.
| Pass | Price | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Explorer | Free | Registration without validation |
| VIP | $399 ($319.20 with the code, Cointribune calculation) | Registration without validation |
| Media | Free | Organizers’ validation required |
| Speaker and Sponsor | Free | Reserved for speakers and partners, subject to validation |
Attendance figures must be taken with caution: the organizer aims for 4,000 selected participants and 8,000 registrations, but its site also shows 7,500 participants, a total that combines its 2025 editions in Dubai and Singapore. For a visitor already on site for TOKEN2049, the interest is simple: two additional days of meetings, free of charge, just minutes from Marina Bay Sands.
Doors open on Monday, October 5 at 9:30 a.m., Singapore time, which is 3:30 a.m. in Paris. Two things should be watched: actual attendance against the goal of 4,000 participants, and projects chosen for Founders’ Den, which will indicate where Southeast Asian investors are placing their bets this year. The next edition is already announced for Dubai on April 19 and 20, 2027, according to the CoinFerenceX site. For the rest of your week, find our program of TOKEN2049 week in Singapore.
