Indeed, this collaboration aims to enhance the reliability and resilience of the Zilliqa network’s data. The goal is to position this blockchain as a robust and relevant platform for crypto services, Web3, and decentralized applications (dApps).

To elevate the Zilliqa network to this level, Google Cloud is leveraging its expertise and reputation in professional cloud services. This perspective would accelerate the digital transformation of the platform by supporting the ongoing progress of developers.

Harnessing the Power of Staked Seed Nodes (SSN)

The primary objective of this strategic alliance is to bolster Zilliqa’s relevance in the Web3 space. However, to achieve this goal, emphasis on the platform’s security and accessibility is crucial. Staked Seed Nodes (SSN) will play a vital role in achieving this objective.

An SSN refers to a type of node (or server) within the Zilliqa network that is responsible for storing a historical archive of transactions and offering services to end-users.It’s worth noting that SSNs are vital components for the Zilliqa blockchain. They record information about accounts, balances, smart contracts, and transmit crypto transactions for validation, among other functions. These nodes can also provide an avenue for users on the Zilliqa network to delegate their tokens and earn staking rewards.

However, their role is currently limited as they do not participate in Zilliqa’s consensus mechanism. Therefore, stakeholders are considering expanding their function as part of a hybrid consensus mechanism in connection with an evolved version of the Zilliqa blockchain.

Enhancing Zilliqa Network’s Technical Efficiency and Architecture

By announcing this alliance with Google Cloud, Zilliqa Group is poised to make its blockchain more relevant to users and attractive as a platform for businesses. Google Cloud will become Zilliqa Group’s strategic cloud provider to enhance its technical efficiency and network architecture.

This involves using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to maintain node availability, with Google Cloud’s Security Command Center enhancing blockchain security and Google Workspace streamlining collaboration between ventures within Zilliqa Group.Furthermore, the integration of Google Cloud’s BigQuery into the company’s node architecture will facilitate data accessibility for public analysis, benefiting businesses and users active on the Zilliqa network. This further solidifies its status as a scalable blockchain accessible to developers.
