Even under fire from critics, Cardano (ADA) continues to move forward. The crypto community is ecstatic at the release of Cardano’s (ADA) new L2 Hydra update. According to Cardano developer Sebastian Nagel, the Cardano Node v8.1.2 client and the Mithril signature protocol play a crucial role in this L2 Hydra update. “This release aims to optimize node synchronization processes. This will considerably improve network efficiency”, he explained. By introducing new application programming interfaces (APIs), Cardano Hydra also becomes more accessible to Web3 developers and researchers. The update therefore opens up new opportunities for the Cardano crypto platform.

The Hydra update also represents an important milestone in Cardano’s journey to 2023. “This update enables Cardano to assert its position by offering innovative solutions that will redefine the future of blockchain platforms,” said Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson (ADA).
