OpenAI Integrates Kalshi’s Forecasts into ChatGPT

According to a New York Times article, reported by Cointelegraph, OpenAI now displays the odds from Kalshi’s prediction market when users search for World Cup matches in ChatGPT. This integration had not yet been officially announced at the time of its discovery. Kalshi did not wish to comment on this development, while OpenAI had not responded to inquiries about this partnership.
Specifically, the results take the form of charts showing the probability of victory for each team according to Kalshi’s data. The goal is to provide a quick overview of market forecasts directly within the search interface. This initiative represents OpenAI’s first known partnership with a predictive markets platform, illustrating the growing interest of tech companies in this type of information.
