In this context, OpenAI is starting to integrate Kalshi’s forecasts into ChatGPT’s search results dedicated to the FIFA World Cup. This development marks the first known collaboration between the artificial intelligence company and a platform specialized in prediction markets.

OpenAI Integrates Kalshi’s Forecasts into ChatGPT

Predictive markets are taking an increasing place in digital tools designed for the general public. According to a New York Times article, reported by Cointelegraph, OpenAI now displays the odds from Kalshi’s prediction market when users search for World Cup matches in ChatGPT. This integration had not yet been officially announced at the time of its discovery. Kalshi did not wish to comment on this development, while OpenAI had not responded to inquiries about this partnership.

Specifically, the results take the form of charts showing the probability of victory for each team according to Kalshi’s data. The goal is to provide a quick overview of market forecasts directly within the search interface. This initiative represents OpenAI’s first known partnership with a predictive markets platform, illustrating the growing interest of tech companies in this type of information.

Probabilities Displayed for Informational Purposes Only

The data integrated into ChatGPT is exclusively for informing users. People viewing the results cannot purchase contracts or place bets directly from the interface. This limitation complies with OpenAI’s guidelines, which clearly distinguish displaying forecasts from any transactional activity.

The report cites several search examples conducted in ChatGPT. A search involving a match between France and Spain showed a 59% chance of victory for France, according to Kalshi. Another search concerning a match between England and Argentina presented a 55% probability in favor of England. In each case, OpenAI identifies Kalshi as the source of the forecasts shown to users.

Predictive Markets are Growing on Major Platforms

Founded as a regulated predictive markets platform, Kalshi allows users to trade contracts related to economic, political, or sports events. Its activity has significantly increased over recent months. Dune Analytics data indicate that the platform recorded a monthly notional volume exceeding $33 billion in June 2026, about $22 billion more than Polymarket.

This development fits a broader trend. Kalshi formed partnerships with CNN and CNBC in December 2025 to integrate its data into their content. Meanwhile, Polymarket partnered with Dow Jones in January 2026 to provide its forecasts to several products, including the Wall Street Journal.

Additionally, Google also integrated data from Kalshi and Polymarket into Google Finance and Google Search as of November 2025. With this new integration, OpenAI joins companies leveraging predictive markets to enrich their information services.

The arrival of this data in ChatGPT confirms the growth of predictive markets within major digital platforms. Although this integration remains limited to an informative role, it could pave the way for new uses of market-based forecasts in artificial intelligence tools while maintaining a separation between displayed information and transactional activities.
